Theme of the Week:   Jesus reminds us today that the kingdom of God is not always what we think it is. It has humble beginnings when he plants it in our hearts, yet it works amazing and wondrous results. The kingdom of God is glorious, yet it is glory that is not realized until we reach heaven. Christ’s rule in our lives on earth reflects the life of our Savior on earth, a life of humbleness.

Brief Open Forum and Voter’s Meeting Today

Last Sunday at our annual voter’s meeting the budget proposal was voted down. The budget committee has carefully and prayerfully considered changes to the budget proposal and will present those few changes following worship. The budget committee wishes to hold a brief open forum to explain the reason for the changes they made along with answering any questions you might have. Following this brief open forum we wish to have a voter’s meeting to vote on the revised budget proposal. Hope to see many of you there.

To our Summer Camp kids for enriching our worship with their praises to God their Savior. Please stick around for brunch and sample a few of the treats they whipped up during “Top Chef” week at camp.

 

Welcome

To Angelo and Lisa Orfanides and daughter Maxilynn. We praise God for the seed of his Word planted in their hearts. We welcome them into the family of believers and look forward to growing with them in God’s Word.

 

Kid Care Volunteers

Our Youth Coordinator, Bethany Schwartz, is interested in finding willing volunteers to help staff Kid Care. If you are interested in helping out every now and then, even just once every other month, please see the sign up sheet in the back of church. Thanks for considering this opportunity to serve.
